Sho said that Jun was okay. But he was wrong. Jun didn’t show the symptoms right after the revelation but it came much later when he really thought that Jun was okay. It started with a night when Jun woke up drenched in sweat. Sho was wide awake too when Jun suddenly screamed in his sleep and saw Jun caught up in a bad dream.
“Jun? Jun? wake up!” Sho tried to rouse Jun from the sleep. Jun didn’t react but keep trashing and crying in his sleep. Didn’t know what else he could do to wake Jun, Sho pulled his boyfriend close to him and hugged him tightly. It worked. Jun quit trashing but the sobbing didn’t subdue. Sho caressed his hair, whispering soothing words until Jun finally calmed down. Weirdly enough, Jun didn’t wake up through the whole event but continued to sleep in a calm manner like nothing happened. Sho didn’t let go. After making sure that Jun was finally sleeping peacefully, Sho continue to sleep holding Jun tightly in his arms.

When Jun woke up the next morning he saw Sho was staring intently at him. He blinked a few times to get rid of the sleepiness.
“Good morning, baby,” Sho greeted.
“Morning,” Jun answered. He frowned when he realized their position. He was wrapped tightly in Sho’s arms. That was weird, wasn’t he sleeping back facing Sho? How come he could move that much while sleeping? Or was it Sho being sneaky towards him in the night? Jun glared at Sho. “why am I here?” he asked.
Sho smiled. It seemed like Jun didn’t remember. “How are you feeling?” he asked instead.
Jun frowned. “Tired.” he answered. He buried his face further into Sho’s chest not understanding why he felt like he has been running a long track, not like he just woke up from a long sleep. And his face felt like a mess. Was he crying in his sleep? His frown got deeper. “Sho?” Jun called, curiosity washed over him.
“Hmm?”
“What happened?”
Sho paused at that question. Jun really didn’t remember. Caressing Jun’s hair gently he asked, “you don’t remember?”
“What should I remember?” this time Jun looked up to face Sho.
Sho touched Jun’s forehead, easing the crease there and said, “that you had a nightmare?” Sho told him in questioning manner. The frown in Jun’s forehead appeared again, clearly not remembering the event occurred last night.
“I don’t.” Jun whispered softly, voice barely heard.
Sho said nothing in return but hugged Jun a bit tighter before he got up, bring Jun along with him. “Go shower while I prepare coffee and some light breakfast.” He commanded, leaving Jun a chaste kiss on the forehead and immediately vanished from the room.
Jun was left dumbfounded and confused. ‘what was that?’ he thought bitterly.
